From November 25 to 27, ChinaCoat 2025 was held at the Shanghai New International Expo Centre. LINGWE Technology (Stock Code: 301373), aligning with the core objective of the national 15th Five-Year Plan to "accelerate the development of a new energy system", focused on three major new energy sectors—wind power, photovoltaics, and energy storage—showcasing coating material solutions for wind-solar-storage equipment, empowering the new energy industry with nano-scale functional materials.
This exhibition positively responded to the policy direction proposed by the National Energy Administration at its October 31 press conference to "accelerate the deployment of new energy that is truly reliable and sustainable" and "promote diversified development of distributed new energy across multiple scenarios."
Wind Power: Functional Silica Provides Matting and Protection
HOMSIL® matting agent, applied to wind turbine blade coatings, reduces surface gloss by creating a uniform matte finish. This effectively eliminates glare caused by rotating blades, minimizing optical interference with surrounding environments and low-altitude aircraft, and enhancing visual coordination and safety. For wind turbine tower protection, the addition of HOMAC® silica anti-rust pigments significantly enhances coating weatherability and corrosion resistance, providing reliable long-term performance for equipment operating under complex outdoor conditions.
Photovoltaics: Nano-Silica Sol Delivers Efficiency and Weatherability
Addressing the photovoltaic industry's core demand for performance improvement, LINGWE has developed specialized coating material solutions. The company's self-developed HOMSOL® silica sol is used in photovoltaic glass self-cleaning coatings, enabling anti-reflection, light transmission enhancement, and surface self-cleaning functions to effectively improve module power generation efficiency. Meanwhile, HOMSIL® silica dedicated to photovoltaic backsheet coatings, with its excellent sealing, weather resistance, and anti-sedimentation properties, has been adopted by several leading photovoltaic material companies in China, providing a robust barrier for long-term stable operation of PV modules.
Energy Storage: Waterborne Epoxy Emulsion and Curing Agent Solve Anti-Corrosion Challenges
For the rapidly growing energy storage market, LINGWE has launched multiple POLYCOAT® waterborne epoxy resin solutions for energy storage cabinet coatings. The WBE522 emulsion paired with WBH816 curing agent provides comprehensive anti-rust and anti-corrosion protection for storage enclosures; the combination of WBE522 emulsion with WBH820 curing agent is effectively applied to radiant cooling coatings, serving storage cabinet temperature control and building energy efficiency scenarios to improve energy utilization.
Notably, this product series has been awarded the "2025 Asia Coatings Industry Technology Pioneer Award" for its technological innovation and outstanding performance.
Currently, these product solutions have entered into cooperation or joint testing phases with several industry benchmark customers. Leveraging high-performance products and localized technical service capabilities, LINGWEI is injecting reliable domestic material strength into the new energy industry chain.
As of September 2025, China's total installed capacity of wind and solar power has exceeded 1.7 billion kW. The vast installed base and ongoing market expansion continue to drive demand for specialized protective materials. LINGWEI Technology is contributing to the cross-sector collaboration and full-chain integration of the new energy industry through material innovation.
