Product Profile:
The NanoLWE series Ion-exchange Rust-proof Pigment LM-30, with white powder appearance, which is mainly composed of calcium ion-exchange amorphous silica gel. This new-developed Nanotechnology, without toxic and heavy metal, can meet the environmental regulations of both today and future. The Ion-exchange Rust-proof Pigment can exchange calcium ions for the paint film and hydrogen ions on the substrate, which can neutralize the acidic substances, maintain a high pH value, to prevent the substrate from erosive. Meanwhile, the calcium ions can be combined with the metal oxide film to form a protective layer to protect the steel substrate, reduce corrosion, and prolong the service life. Ion exchange anti-rust pigments do not contain heavy metals, toxic, which provides a certain degree of rust protection. Applicable to coil coating and other film fields, the high surface area combined with their slightly soluble pigment particles can effectively reduce the coating attenuation. This can reduce the foaming and permeability during weathering, to exhibit excellent long-term protection performance. With low density, LM-30 therefore contains a relatively high amount of active particles per unit weight. The combination of LM-30 with other reactive pigments gives great advantage in most applications.
